after what seems to be a long time we will be opening our very first shop in Leigh-on-Sea in Essex. It is a small section of a big store called What the Butler Saw on the Leigh Road.
I am nervous, scared and excited all at the same time - it will hold lots of gorgeous crochet, hand-painted and upcycled furniture, a few magazines, a few collectables and anything else that we can create, find or make.
Our big opening day is on the 1st September and I am so, so busy fitting around my full-time job - that'll be the one that puts a roof over our heads and bread and butter on the table - making and thinking of things to sell - as well as setting up our on-line etsy shop - my main worry is getting good photos - once that has been achieved there will be no stopping us.
But at 50 years old I feel scared that I am past it, bonkers for taking this on, and hoping that it will be the best way to step into our later years :)
